Giving can come in many forms, depending on what you hope to accomplish.

Cash gifts
The simplest way to give is to make a cash donation to the Foundation, either through a single contribution or through a periodic pledge.  You may designate your gift to a specific fund or funding priority, or simply apply it toward our general fund to be used where it is most needed.

Tribute gifts
One of the nicest ways to pay tribute to a loved one or recognize a special occasion like a birth, birthday or wedding is by making a charitable gift in someone’s name, recognizing the role Sutter Davis Hospital has played in that person’s life or your own.

Named gifts
The Foundation frequently offers donors opportunities to have larger donations publicly recognized in honor or memory of an individual or family.  Sutter Davis Hospital’s Donor Wall, located in the hospital lobby, publicly acknowledges naming level gifts. Another way to leave a lasting tribute is to purchase an inscribed brick for the Meditation Garden’s patio.

Planned giving
Some donors are able to provide substantial, long-term support for the hospital by arranging a life income arrangement, such as a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust; or, by including the Sutter Davis Hospital Foundation in a bequest in their wills.  Visit our Planned Giving page for more details.
